Curriculum
Primary curriculum
Primary SRE focuses on stories from the Bible that give students and teachers opportunities to:
- Discuss principles of ethics and human relationships that are important in today’s world.
- Explore how spiritual values contribute to quality relationships and a sense of self-worth.
Students receive a beautifully illustrated workbook with activities to accompany each lesson.
We use the Godspace curriculum, which is widely used for primary SRE in NSW. See www.Godspace.org.au/curriculum
Secondary curriculum
We use the Think Faith curriculum, the most commonly used curriculum for high school SRE in New South Wales.
The Think Faith curriculum explores four major themes, which are studied at increasing depth in each year of high school:
- Foundation for Christian living – the Bible
- Foundation of the Christian worldview – the four gospels
- Living out the Christian life
- Living as a Christian in the world
